Out to get in line at Toys R Us at 11pm, giving up on our spot in line because we were cold and wet from standing in the rain at 11:45, and heading for dry ground at Old Navy. In and out of Old Navy in less than 45 minutes, and back to stand in line at Toys R Us. After standing outside again for another 30 minutes we were finally allowed in the door where we found ourselves immediately in the checkout line which weaved up and down every single aisle. 2.5 hours and one extremely full shopping cart later, we were finally on our way out the door! Made a quick stop to unload the car to make more room, then we were off to Walmart. I was so relieved to find that they were letting people take their BF items when we arrived at 4:45. We were done shopping and through the checkouts by 5:30 and home and in bed by 6am! And for some reason now I am fully awake and not understanding how. I haven't stayed awake for nearly 24 hours in a looong time but I don't remember ever being able to function after only 4 hours of sleep!
Deals I found:
Old Navy- Nice winter coats for both sons for only $15 each, winter coat for hubby for $34.
Toys R Us - The only "deal" item I bought were Crayola art boxes for $9.99, originally $19.99. Everything else I bought was regularly priced.
Walmart - Leap Frog Table for $19, Hot Wheels race track for $19 (originally $40), 2-pack of transformers for $9. Everything else was regularly priced.
Edit: I did go to Kmart on Thanksgiving, too. I got each of my sons the $12 MP3 player. They're 6 and 8 so it will do just fine for them. I also got a BOGO table runner!
We left at 5:30 am. Stopped for breakfast then went to the outlet mall about 45 minutes away. Got some jeans (me and grandson), socks (DH and me), shirt (DH), cologne for DH.
Then off to Bed Bath and Beyond - GC, roaster pan (for me) and after rebate it will have cost $6 and will hold a 30lb. turkey, a painting set for grandson.
Then went and got the prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. Got the boneless for $4.99lb.
Home at 11am.

Oh let's see, I had to be at work at 3 am for us to open at 4 am. Walked around the store since the bank I work at in the store was dead. Almost got hit by 3 carts, watched people going crazy over by the electronics, joking with my supervisor how crazy it was. Then on my "lunch" (breakfast) break, I went and bought my dd a few things for Christmas, nothing really on sale. Just a dress up set and some Tag Junior books to go with the Tag she's getting for Christmas. Then got off work at 9 am. Ran to the grocery store to get some juice and butter. Ran home and changed, and I cleaned a little bit. Then I ran to Hobby Lobby to buy some tulle for tutus. Now I'm home getting ready to fold some laundry, do some Christmas decorating (finally!!) and getting ready for my dad and stepmom coming to visit.
My hubby went to WalMart for me. He got the dress up trunk, and the fisher price ball. I wanted him to get the pjs but he counldnt find them. He came home and I went to get the pjs, and diapers. I was only able to get one pair. All the small sizes were gone. KMart is across the street and the line to get in was way to long. So I went to Walgreens and got two inflatables and went home. I really wanted to go to Kmart, but after seeing the huge line I decieded not to.

Yep, I got the girly one for my daughter, too. I didn't actually know they came in pink because I just saw the primary colored one that was in the ad... Then my sister went deep into Walmart before I was ready to fight the masses (after dealing with the nightmare that was Toys R Us) and she came out with a pink one. Sometimes I'm afraid my daughter will never learn the primary colors exist because all of her toys are pink! LOL
