To me it would be a huge relief, my kids would get more clothes and a great Christmas. I like that Kmart is still doing layaway because Walmart is not. I would have some peace of mind knowing my kids would be getting more than what we could afford, but they are still having a decent Christmas. We also live on a fixed income and my husband and son get ssi, my son has CP. I wish I could get a job without worrying about affecting my 19 month old daughters medicaid and etc but it would be a true blessing in disguise for our family. I would be so thrilled if out of what seems like a one in a million chance that I won, hypothetically speaking.
What would it mean to you or your family, how would you feel?
If this was to happen it would mean that my 19 month old Emmalee would get a toddler bed, mattress etc that she so desperately needs and both my kids could have more clothes because they have no where near enough since we do not have immediate family that sends gifts for my kids. We do it all on our own and it makes it really hard on us and especially stressful at times.
You ladies are awesome though
We would be thrilled. It would really help alot. Money is tight and I sure do appreciate these contests, plus they are fun too. I would not have to worry so much that I was not able to get something nice for my family for Christmas. But, most of all I think I would get my dd some much needed winter stuff and PJ's! Ha ha. It would definetly take away some stress. Good luck to everyone!
It would mean good birthday presents for dd and dh since both their birthdays are in Feb. and just a FYI, the gift card winners are not going to be picked until DEC. 21st so the odds of you getting the gift card for Christmas is just about nil. but it would be nice if the winner did get asap right?

Getting any amount gift card would help out. Due to a high risk pregnancy I had to quit work in Aug. Since then I have been in the hospital 3 times and once requiring emergency surgery. During all this my DH's hours have been cut at work. The baby is due in Dec and things are really tight. My DH's grandmother gives us $100 every year and we have to buy gifts with it and then take the gifts to her to wrap. She won't have it any other way. I don't need anything material so I'm trying to buy gifts that I can return after Christmas to get the money back to spend on groceries and things we have to have. My husband doesn't even know my plan but I do what I have to do to keep my family afloat until his hours pick back up at work which should be in Jan. I have already bought our baby what she will be getting from us and I'm making sure that DH gets some small items that he is wanting. I've always found a way to make it before and I wil this time too.

It would be helpful right now, thats for sure. I have had no luck finding a job (been looking for many many months). Also hubbys work cut back more hours. So, yep it would be nice. I am sure it would arrive late for Christmas, so we would more then likely use it for groceries for the winter.
It would mean a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. As it stands we will have to go into our savings account to do Christmas this year, and that is something that we hate to do because there isn't a lot in there, and it's intended for emergencies. However, we just can't stand the thought of our kids not having a Christmas at all this year.
I'd certainly get a big part of Next Christmas done, with those after Christmas sales! I'm sure the card wouldn't be here in time for Christmas this year. This card would also be so helpful throughout the year for essentials! **Keeping my fingers Crossed**
Good luck to all!
