My girls and I decided to use the gc to bless someone else. We decided to fill a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child and to buy some $5 phone cards to put into envelopes with $5 McD's gc's and a personal testimony letter to hand to homeless people or anyone we see who may be in need. All in all we had a great experience. The girls really loved picking out toys and necessities for the "little baby" who was to recieve their shoebox. We included small toys, crayons, coloring book, hairbows, toothbrushes and paste, some lip gloss etc. But when it came time to find the phonecards for our envelopes we weren't so lucky. The smallest one we could find were for $15 each. Well we did find one that was for $5 but it was completely in spanish. I had no idea if it was even a phonecard. I found that really odd. So we ended up not getting any. I was disappointed about that. So we went back and added a few more things to our box instead. After paying we had $2.50 left. I suppose on our next trip to Kmart I'll splurge on a chocolate bar for each of the girls. lol!
