Zhu Zhu Pets?

i see and hear A LOT about these things...what are they and why are they SOOOOOO POPULAR?? im curious...i dont want to be left in the dark about something if its cool...

Basically they are well advertised and not enough were made, I think the company put more into advertising than manufacturing so they are the "it" toy this year.

I've never seen one, but they don't look like much of anything from the commercial! looks like hampsters that roll around.... my daughter had something similar a few years ago. Not sure why the zhu zhu is such a big deal...

Check out the videos of them on youtube.com I don't think they are worth the craze at all! The commercial of course makes them look alot faster!, Their s-l-o-w.......

I wish they had Zhu Zhu pets 5yrs. ago when I got my oldest DD a real hamster for christmas, that little monster was so messy and stinkey, then, he escaped from his cage and chewed through the carpet to escape DDs room!! Luckily my 4yr.old DD just wants dolls and my little pony stuff this year lol

They are so cute. But my kids haven't asked for them. Good Luck finding them, they are all the rage...and sold out almost everywhere.

I found the whole set (minus 1 piece) at Target. We got there as soon as they opened and there they were. My daughter wants them. The hamsters were only $8 each. They are probably going to be one of those "why did I buy this?" toys but I think they will be played with between my daughter and the kids I babysit.
