toothbrushes, boxers, "giftcards" for favors (hehehe), favorite candy, cologne, a private photo of you, airline size bottles of alcohol, gift certificates, golf balls (if he's into that), new sunglasses, cell phone accessories, movies, tickets to a hockey/football/basketball game.....

I'm not sure what your DH likes but I can tell you what I put in my DH's stocking.  I put a toothbrush, body spray, pistachios, kitchen gadgets (this year I have a set of tongs and a citrus juicer).

Some other ideas might be:  batteries, deck of cards, uno cards, pens, calculator, razors, gum, candy, flashlight, key chain flashlight, mini tool set,  tape measure.

One year my DH made me some home-made back rub coupons.  It was really thoughtful and cute!

I usually give my husband a box of Holiday Life Savers. He loved them as a kid so I put them in his stocking every year. I always put from Mrs. Claus on the package.

Here is a list of things:

A Cd of his favorite music.

A new photo of the kid (s) and make sure he has one of you too!

A new key-chain.

The 3-n-1 survivor tool for his car/truck.

A knit cap or beanie

A pair of gloves.

A mini- flashlight either on a key-chain or not.

A new travel coffee mug or just a coffee mug

A scarf.

A few food cards...big hit with teenage boys as well.

A eye-glass repair kit (handy even if he only wears sunglasses)

One of thos eye glass cleaning kit_the cleaner and a cloth.

My husband is a hard person to do stockings for as he doesn't like alot of the usual stuff. I usually do some candy, a couple lottery tickets and things related to whatever his current hobbies are ( he changes with the seasons.) In the spring he likes gardening, so I put some heirloom seeds in his stocking, the summer he likes fishing, so some lures. He loves to ready scary stories in the fall, so this year I added a book by Lovecraft, also he does model railroading, so a couple traincars, or some paint.

I also made him coupons for a dessert a month, each coupon has a dessert he likes and he picks whicj month ot use them. Also did a little coupon book, some random things like playing monopoy (which i refuse to play with him), watching his fav movie, going hiking, etc.
