Who starts their flowers from seed?

 Do you have any success? I have tried 5 years in a row to grow wave petunias and I've got NOTHING! I'm at the end of my rope. Soooooo...I'm going to buy some plants next Sunday or the following.

How are oyu successful in growing them? Help please!

This was the first year i planted from seeds and they are growing and thriving so well!!

I do neither, but we did start some from seed for mothers day gifts. They sprouted even, we were so excited!

I have tried with the kids and it never worked out.  I only plant tomatoes in containers and I buy it as a plant.

I only grow tulips and they're from bulbs....it worked when I followed the directions on the package.
