To hit the snooze
"Just one more time"
and realize it's already been three
and jump out of bed for the morning rush
to get everyone read-y.
Feeding and brushing and washing and clothes
and screaming and squalling and
"I can't find my shoes!"
and quick hugs and kisses
and late, missing buses
and running around like a fool
the quiet descends
and the kids are safely ensconced in school.
