A few days before Halloween. The squirrels really love to get at them and I hate to see them ruined before the holiday.

We usually wait until the third week in October.

If we get any a day or 2 before so they look fresh.We are usually not there because dd/s trick or treating and we have fall festival at church.

Usually like that week, we live in tx & its still pretty warm so if u do them too early they just rot...sometimes they are looking pretty bad even if we just do them the day before

I haven't carved pumpkins in years and years but I think it might be fun for our 4 year old twins to try (with my help of course)

I like to wait until the last minute, that way I can bake them after trick or treating is done.
