The layaway plan

Overall it seems like a great thing! My dh and I went to check it out last night while we were shopping and I was turned off before I even saw the counter because the line was so long! Apparently a lot of people love this! I just couldn't see standing in line that long but then again I did go on a weekend and come to find out it was also a big sale day! I can see me using this in the future if only for them to store my gifts since my kids go snooping :P

The lines can be intimidating especially on weekends and near Christmas when you go to pick up.  The trick is go during the week and take another adult with you, be sure you both have cell phones.

While one waits the other can shop or whatever.  After a predetermined time you switch places.  When the there is only a couple people in front of you the person whose lay a way it is takes over.

Hey that's smart have a plan before you go and try to pick a slow time.  Good idea about storing the gifts away from snooping kids too.
