Play alone activities

What kind of "play alone" activities do you set your kids up with? I bring my daughter to work with me 3 days a week, she's 2 and she's recently started getting very bored with her toys and coloring, and that sort of thing. I do have quite a bit of down time that I play with her, chase her, etc... But I'd like to find some different activities for her do to by herself.

My youngest loves blocks, stacking, knocking down (never seems to get old..lol). The other 'play alone' activities are rather nosy and I'm not sure they'd be suitable for place of employment..lol. What kind of work do you do? I used to take my oldest 2 with me during the summer..

You could try lacing boards too.

Play doh is a good option. She's got a toy shelf in the back with blocks, and an assortment of toys. She also has a TV with a DVD player set up.

What are lacing boards and little people?

Lacing Boards are like this:
