Can it be saved-update

My husband left the cell phone in his pants pocket and some how i missed it when I went to wash the clothes so it went through the whole cycle. Is there any way to save it. It is not an expensive phone, just a trac phone, but we have a lot of minutes on it and I would hate to lose them. Right now I have it open with the battery out sitting on the counter hoping it will dry out. Any tips?

We were not able to save the phone, but we were able to transfer the minutes and time so we only had to buy a new phone which was only $9.99

put it in a ziploc bag full of rice.  the rice will dry out the moisture.  It might help!

Put it in a bowl or nag of rice overnight. The rice will soak up the water.

The rice works really well.  We have saved several phones this way.

It should work once it dries out. Try the rice suggestion
