First off I received this email stating Redeem & earn even more. Earn 5xpoints on qulifying purchases thru 12/31/11 every time you redeem your current points.
I was reading in another group about this and seems that there is 2 scenarios. The first scenario has worked for some but not all. Example1: Your current point bal is $9 you make a purchase of $50 when you redeem your points it gives you 5x the amt. so that would be $45 redeemable in points leaving you $5 out of pocket.
Scenario 2: Same $50 purchase you redeem your points $9 leaving 41 out of pocket in which you would earn 5x the pointson the $41
Has anyone redeemed their points for this promotion that can shed some light on the subject. I have tried calling but I get different answers as well

To make a longer story of how I came to this conclusion short, #2 appears to be the way this has worked for me. I get e-mails from them, but if I got one I didn't pay attention. Dec. 18, 2011 I redeemed all points and wondered why I still had 2000 or so points. With my receipt that day I also received a little explanation of this promotion. Today I redeemed the 2000 or so points and it appears they came from the first shopping trip, 5X the amount of points normally earned for the amount I spent. I have over 1,000 from today's purchase of around $21.00. The way it read on the piece of paper would have been the #1 scenario. I didn't find any info on this on the website as they had said I would. Another forum was just as confused as we are. The clerks nor the manager of my store knew anything about it. My tickets do not look exactly like #2 either, but once tax and this that and the other is subtracted or added, it may come out that way.
