Romance Cookies

1 cup butter
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla 
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2-1 cup walnuts, chopped
powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter. Add flour, sugar, and salt. Spread in an ungreased 9x13 pan. Combine eggs, brown sugar, baking powder, vanilla, coconut and nuts. Pour over flour mix. Bake for 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into bars. Makes 24 cookies.
