Tonight for Valentines day?
The hubby man and I have been together for 13 years, and in those 13 years we have NEVER EVER went out on Valentines day and did anything until this year! We wanted to go to Texas road house, AH I didn't wanna wait almost 2 hours to eat, so we ended up driving by a half dozen restaurants and they were ALL packed. We decided that we were going to just go to one of the Applebees but the one that is a little more secluded and it wasnt packed at all. We got in, got seated and ordered right away. The last couple times we went to an Applebees it was horrible, the food was skimpy, and bland. This time We were so pleased, our waitress was super nice, and so helpful. we ordered an appetizer and Dh got a bowl of soup, I got a pasta that was on the 2 for 20 menu, well the price for the appetizer and pasta was about the same as the 2 for 20, so she said we could always order something off there and get it to go, so I have lunch for tomorrow! sweet. She also suggested drink savings as well. She ended up saving us a lot of money, so we tipped her good. After that we went to the casino and played there, we did pretty well, pretty much won our money back so that was a plus. Now its off to bed. Hope you all had a great day!
that's nice! I was having a pretty good day but for the past hour my 15mth has refused to go to sleep and now dh is playing a stupid video game... all I want to do is watch some TV that we have recorded but no baby is running around getting in to things and dh is all involved in a stupid game!!!! ugh!
This year I made prime rib dinner..Chocolate covered strawberries and cheesecake..Dh and I go out to eat almost every weekend, so we stayed home ..Nothing beats spending time with my lover and the products of our love.....
We didn't go out tonight but we went out over the weekend this past weekend. That's honestly our only time to actually go out and do anything together or as a family. He works nights and sleeps during the day so the amount of time during the evening that he is awake before going to work isn't enough to go to dinner or anything.
I made a favorite dish of his at home though along with the cake I made him last night and the chocolate covered strawberries I made this afternoon. That's not including the exchanging of gifts of course.
we had a nice dinner at home and hubby got me some sweets from the bakery
