Tend to sit cross legged, or with you feet up under you?

I find myself sitting cross legged (indian-style) all the time, at work, sitting on the couch, at the dinner table, etc.  I'm almost always either like that or with my legs tucked under me.

How bout you?

Not even if you are sitting on the couch watching a movie?

I have been that way as a child. I can remember sitting at my desk, always having one leg or the other, crossed over.

When at home, I either have them on an Ottoman or sitting with.....well, I can't think of how to describe it, but they are up.

At the movies, they are on the back if the chair in front if me (no one is sitting in of course :-) and are restraunts, one leg is always tucked up (I know, not classy. And yes, my mother would have a fit if she knew).

But I have to be careful now bc I have osteoarthritis in both hips and am probably having a hip replacement this year.

Wow I said a lot. Probably waaay more information than you bargained for, huh??

I'm the same way always one leg up or Indian style. I'm starting to have a problem with one hip, have to go get it checked out.

 Haha!!  That's ok.  I did ask.  :)

I always find it more comfortable to sit with my legs up in some way then just straight down, or the typical crossed.  I actually really try not to cross my legs in the typical 'lady-like' way.  It cuts off blood flow, and increases the chances of getting varcoss(sp) veins.  If I am out at a nice dinner or something similar, I'll cross my ankles and fold my legs under the chair (if that makes sense at all).

Do you tend to put one leg up more then the other?  For me, if I only have one leg up,  it is almost always my left.  Not sure why, but that is just what i've noticed.
