Could your family do only one bag?

Could you (or do you) recycle, reduce, reuse or compost enough of your daily trash to limit your family to one 33 gallon trash bag, a week, going to a landfill?

We only use about a bag a week.

We usually have only one bag, or two kitchen bags. Our recycling is always double what our garbage is. My kids are better at it than my husband! And we always donate usuable items, and try not to buy anything that we won't use or use up.

we recycle but still use 2 bags

We recycle all we can now and we usually have 2 bags. The second one is never full.

We couldn't recycle before because of our apartment building.... But we can now that we moved.

 We used to sort our trash for recycling but our pickup no longer does that they told us our facility sorts our trash- so we just throw everything all in a bag and we do about 2-3 kitchen bags a week.
