I took my kids to an easter egg hunt at a church.. We have never been to that church but they made a sign for the public.. so everyone was invited.. I figured why not take them. We dont really have a church we go to and maybe we will like this one..
So the people were fairly nice and ok even I kept to myself but they didnt seem to snodie and stuck up like Im better then you.. (ok maybe one.. LOL)
They had a little story about Jesus and dying on the cross and so on..
Now what I thought was a little bit odd that they had plastic easter eggs hidden all over their church yard.. The reason..
When you pick up an egg you should remember the REAL REASON and the egg resembles Jesus tomb which was empty when he went to heaven..
They did get goodie bag in fact they got two....
Does your church do that? Do you do that. Empty easter eggs..
This is the first time I saw that
My old church did a hunt along with a bible story trivia, you have a paper with questions to ask the characters that are walking through the group. When you have all the answers there is a scramble or something like that. They also do games etc. Here is a video slide.
