My husband has a pitcher of lemonade in the fridge all year. 365 days a year, he sips on lemonade. Even in the freezing cold winter. I'm the total opposite. I'm a seasonal sipper. In the winter months, I need cozy, warm drinks...and when the temps heat up and the days are longer, I hanker for something refreshing in that glass (yes, then, I will take some of his lemonade).
I've been thinking of new tastes to sip on, maybe ones that offer a boost in nutrients and good things for all of us in the abode and am eyeing a small blender to make Spring Smoothies. I know, we have to be aware of too much sugar from juice and yogurt and stuff, but I surfed around and found a few that fit the bill.
For all of them, you just combine the ingredients in the blender, blend until smooth, and enjoy!

A fave in our house right now is
1 cup almond milk
1 banana
1 cup yogurt
1 cup of frozen fruit
1 handful of spinach (dont taste it)
1 tbsp peanut butterSounds yummy. I would have to leave out the peanut butter though :(
Do you use flavored yogurt or plain?
oh, if only i had a blender. hubby kept breaking them so i stopped buying them.
These all sound good! We do a lot of different ones. My favorite is strawberries, vanilla almond milk and baby spinach.
