we are getting ready to go to DC for the weekend!  the kids don't know yet.  we're visiting my mom (they LOVE her) and going downtown. my son learned about the washington monument and the lincoln memorial in school so we're going to see that and also the air and space museum.  i can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  it's suppose to be beautiful weather too!!!!!

Friday the 13th is just another day for me except that this one is bad because I woke up with a splitting headache.  :-(  I don't have any plans that I know of but I am happy because my SS changed his plans and went to his Moms this weekend so that he can be here next weekend with me for my birthday next Friday.  I am pretty excited about that because I love my SS to pieces. 

Did you know there are 3 Friday the 13th's this year and each one is exactly 13 weeks apart?

 Well, it's my birthday today!  But really we are not doing anything different.  I am headed to work for a few hours, then watching my friend's DD over night so she can work.  Tomorrow we have a sitter, but i have no idea what we are doing?!?

We don't ever do anything different because of the date. We have a big family dinner planned for tonight.
