On the road to healthy eating

DD(5) doesn't have a terrible diet, as is. We just want to be sure that everything we are giving her, has health benefits for he growing little body.

For breakfast she helped me make her smoothie. Blue berries, a banana, lots of spinach, almond milk, and ice. She really enjoyed it, but said she was disappointed that she couldn't taste the spinach.

What tricks do you use to ensure that you kiddos are eating a healthy, well balanced diet?

Keep fruits and veggies rinsed and cut up, ready to eat in the fridge.
