Has anyone seen it?

We went last night and I thought it was pretty good. About what I expected from a super hero action flick. 

But I was very surprised by the number of young kids in the theater. I saw several little guys that looked 3 or 4. 

My son is four and I would never bring him to a movie like that.  Even though it wasn't gory, there was still a ton of violence. And I think seeing it on the big screen would be even worse for a little one than watching at home. 

What are your thoughts on this? When are kids old enough for this type of movie?

My son is 5 and we are going this week. We took him when he was younger to see all the marvel movies.

Would depend upon the child - my kid, at four would've had no problem with the movie.  My nephew at the same age, it would have upset him.

Loved it! I normally don't take my 11 to to see pg-13 but it was ok. I think given some of the Disney movies were worse than this. 6 and up is ok for this movie. There was violence, but only one that was somewhat gory. I didn't notice any language or sex.

DH took our 5 and 3 year old sons. They LOVED it - no issues whatsoever.

It's not really that I'm worried about him being scared. I don't think he'd be scared by it. I just doing think it's appropriate for him to watch people beating each other up, stabbing and shooting each other.
