We have recently had much controversy over Times magazine cover and article.  I worry that newcomers to our wonderful group may be turned away by that post if it were the first they read.  What is written below I posted on that post as well.  Please know I mean no offense and am judging noone.

'Ladies,

I have not read all your posts, only a few bits and pieces. I will not side with or judge any of you.  However, we are all mature adult women here.  We are all intelligent and reserve the right to our own opinion.  So may I suggest that we shake virtual hands, agree to disagree and return to our  neutral corners. It is what it is, a cover story to sell a publication. While there are many on both sides, I'll sit on the fence and not judge anyone for their parenting choices as they are their choices to make.

True.  I am very passionate about somethings and try to voice my opinion(s) in non offensive ways.  However sometimes people will be offended.  At those times it is often best to just say I am sorry to offend you and let it go.  I believe, for the most part, that parents make the best choice they can based on the information they have.

Same here. I see how many posts there are and tend to duck and cover.

I avoid posts like that.

Its so hard to have your own opinion be known, however politely presented, when so many just wanna stir something up. I'm sorry your post started a controversy, I think attachment parenting is something worth trying for as much as you can do based on your lifestyle. I don't think I'd bf that long if I could at all. (My daughter is 14 weeks :) )
