I was wondering how many pairs of pants/shorts and how many shirts do you buy for your childs wardrobe? I have a friend who used to think it was necessary to have 30+ of each and she is trying to downsize!! Thanks in advance!!

I just bought clothes for my youngest and while he mostly got rompers I bought 3 pairs of shorts to go with some shirts and onies. As long as they have enough clothes to last them a week and a half that's more than enough imo.

It depends. We are potty training our son so he has a lot more clothes right now. My daughter really only wears dresses so she only has 2-3 pairs of shorts. But she has about 30 dresses!

They have like 7 pairs of shorts, 7 pants, 2 nice pants, and like 15 shirts

We dont buy clothes usually, thsnk goodness for handmedowns. But id say maybe 7-10, enough to go a few days to a week in between laundry loads
