Get Your Home Ready For Summer Day 4: Plant Flowers

Posted by   + Show Post

Who likes to garden? Let's plant some flowers! There are so many different ways to add color around your yard.

  • Decorate your porch with hanging plants.
  • Plant a small flower garden with your kids.
  • Re-purpose what you have. Take an old colander and use it to plant flowers.
  • If you already have plants, find a new way to show them off. Add this cool plant stand to showcase a three plants or this river rock planter for a large plant.
  • No space for a garden? Plant a few seeds in a cup indoors!

Do you garden? What are your favorite flowers to grow?

I have flowers all over my front yard and some in the back yard.

I have marigolds, Osters, Fucshias, petunias, and some others I have no clue what their names are.

Hubby gardens. He planted tomatoes, green beans, squash. broccoli, and I think that is it.

I don't have a garden. I would like one but I have a black thumb. I manage to kill fake flowers.

We haven't bought any flowers to plant yet. I do want hanging plants, and flowers by our entryway.

One thing we did do is plant grass seeds/patch in the yard where it was bare. We looked today and saw the grass starting to sprout. The kids were excited. :)

I planted some very pretty purple new wave petunias, along with some other flowers. I looked the dinning roo window and just a big mound of freshly dug gopher tunnels. My dog tried very hard to get the gopher but no success. I'm not giving up on my flower bed,. I just need to know how to get rid of those things.

If I could not kill every thing I touch I would do this. I love tulips, lilies, and irises
