Not tied, but I did have the essure procedure done a few months ago. It should be 100% effective soon. I'll be 31 next weekend.
I wanted to have them tied after my second c-section, but I had DD2 at a catholic hospital, so my doctor couldn't. Hence the essure, which I actually like the idea of much better. It was a non surgical procedure, but still has permanent results. It was done in office in a few hours, and the recovery was much easier and speedier than a tubal. They go in through your cervix and insert coils into each tube. Those coils cause scarring, which eventually blocks off the tubes. I have to go in in August, and they'll put a dye in and check for leakage. If there's no leakage, then I'm good to go, and no more backup bc. This was perfect for me, as hormonal bc seems to mess with me big time. We were positive that 2 was enough, so why not go for it?
No, when it's time for us to go down this road my hubby already said he would get the procedure done ;)
