Get Your Home Ready For Summer Day 8: Update Your Bedroom

We did the kids’ rooms last week and now it’s your turn! Here are a few ideas to get you thinking about how you'd like to update your bedroom.

• Get a new set of sheets. This Champagne Dreams Set is classy and can fit in almost any bedroom.
• Add a little music. Set up a radio, cd player, or iPod dock in your room.
• Get new furniture. You don’t have to spend much to get a new piece of furniture. Add a nightstand to spruce things up or if you have a little more to spend, invest in a new bed frame.
• Paint! It’s amazing what a new coat of paint can do. Go bold and choose a dark color for an accent wall or just brighten up the place with a new coat of white.

I really want some new bedding. I would love to paint but since we are planning on moving in next year, I will wait. I think I might rearrange my room soon though.

I would love to redo the bedroom, something romantic but its gonna have to wait till the money is better

We just added a love seat to our room last weekend(it was free, my FIL's he moved and can't use). I get a new comforter or quilt every few months just because the dogs trash it and it gets washed so much it just has to be replaced. But I don't buy expensive ones since we go through them fast. I know keep the dogs off lol not in this house they are spoiled. So update the bedroom often

We need new sheets, but it's so expensive, and hard to find for our adjustable bed We have to have twin xl, with king top sheet and pillow cases.

 I have bags sitting on the floor full of clothes, etc to be donated so I'd start by calling and geting them picked up.

Our room needs updated badly. Only room in the house that hasn't been since buying this house 5 years ago.
