Do to medical reasons I am currently on bedrest. I hate it lol. I am usually moving around constantly picking up stuff here and there throughout the day. Not anymore.. Not sure how long I will be on bedrest atm. My dishwasher needs unloaded and the current dishes needs to be put in it. My living room needs to be picked up and vacuumed. I probably have another load that can be washed. This is making me crazy.. My mom will be coming over later to get everything done for me, but I hate not being able to do it myself. Some moms would love this lol, they are usually like this anyways. (I do know some personally that would love it). All I can do is sit here and mess around on fb and cm.
How is everyone's day going?
My mom came over and cleaned. Watching that made me feel like complete crap. DH will be making dinner when he gets home. He gets off at 3:30 and home by 4:15, so dinner won't be late, but I hate that he has to make it. My girls are playing with the megablocks on the living room floor. They are fighting off and on too lol. Thankfully not too much.
I'm sorry you have been on it since March already. It will be worth it when your baby comes.
Quoting RyansMommie07:i hear ya. ive been since the end of march... i hate how messy my house is, i keep everything spotless. i hate not being able to work, and now we have bills that are late, things that aren't done, etc. i swear this is more stressful than work, and im an er nurse. my hubby works so hard all day then has to come home to a messy house and a thrown together dinner. it sux. my boys are bored out of their minds now that theyre home from school.. they wont sit and read a book or color anymore with me :(
That's good everything came back normal. My DH got sick in October. It seemed like he had the flu at first. But we couldn't keep his fever under control. I took him to the ER and they had to transfer him to Mermorial Hermann in Houston. That is over an hour from where we live. His platelets and white blood cell count were really low. The blood that his bone marrow was producing was abnormal and not functioning. It was so scary. He had so many different tests done. They could not find anything wrong with him. At one point he had 2 IVs in with 4 different bags. He was in there for 8 days. Then all of a sudden everything got better and they sent him home... All they put on the release form was caused by and unknown virus.
Quoting Rushn311:They found nothing :( My blood counts were up. My platelets and white blood cell count. Everything came back normal.
Quoting ashleymosq:Lol neither am I.
How did the biopsy go? If you don't mind me asking.
Quoting Rushn311:That sucks you are on bedrest and I know how you feel about needing to do things and can't. I had a bone marrow biopsy done last May and I wasn't supposed to do anything for a couple of days, it drove me nuts. I am just not a bedrest person.
Yeah for sure I will!
Quoting ashleymosq:
Yeah bad days happen. If it does become something that happens more than once, I would say something though.
Quoting angieluvsolivia:
I agree. I thought about making a complaint but this is my first experience with her so, maybe it was just a bad day. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt this time....
Quoting ashleymosq:
Wow, sounds like that lady needs a change in enviroment. She can still be a lab lady, but should be in a place where she won't have to see kids. Being in a family practice means she will have to see them and deal with them sometimes..
Quoting angieluvsolivia:
Yeah! He had to pee every 5 minutes and they had one bathroom. He almost didn't make it, ugh! The worst part was the lab lady was not into kids at all and acted annoyed that I had them with me. She seriously said "I'd ask you how your day is going but I can already tell" It's a family practice and they see kids just not many. People kill me, they weren't being bad either just needy, wanting snacks and stuff and she was taking forever!
Quoting ashleymosq:
Oh no, I bet that was interesting at the physical lol.
Quoting angieluvsolivia:
I feel you, I was on bed rest with my last two pregnancies and couldn't accomplish not doing stuff at home so ended up in the hospital. I hated it!!! My day is going ok, had my yearly physical this morning and had to take my kids. That was an event with my newly potty trained 2 year old. Hang it there, it will be over before you know it!
Oh that IS weird. I am glad he got better. :) I have had a rough couple years with health issues-all minor, but frustrating. I was getting migraines, had an MRI and it came back normal. Then the bone marrow biopsy. It came back fine. Then this year I was having issues with numbness in feet/hands and just feeling tired and crappy. The DR's think I have fibro...so I am on Celexa. So far it's working. It's been rough trying to find a pill that works for me tho.

Hopefully the Celexa stays working for you. I know all about odd medical issues lol.
