I heard dd and the neighbor's two older boys trying to figure out a gift they could make for their dads.
So, I mixed up some salt dough, they all agreed that they wanted it blue so I made it light blue. I rolled 3 bigger circles out for the 4-6 year olds and two smaller ones for my 5 month old and their 12 week old.
I did the big kids' hand prints, told the boys to go get their mom and bring her baby over, and I did the babies foot prints.
I baked them for an hour at 200 degrees (should have baked them longer but their mom had to go to work and she wanted to see them give their gifts, so they can air dry and turn out just as well.)
I used a paint marker to write their names on the front and the date on the back.
It was a hit with the neighbors. Dh isn't back home yet to get his. This is a pic of my two kids' final product.
