If you already have an Xbox or whatever don't bother. It's mainly for people who don't have a device to watch it with

Roku is just a device you use for watching Netflix or YouTube or listen to pandora...
I use an apple tv instead so I can watch all my movies on iTunes and rent movies and listen to all my music and watch Netflix. It cost $99 which I think is close to the same as a roku player
No clue..I'm still having fun streaming netflix on my dinosaur tv...lol...
We have an internet ready TV.....would this be the same?

We have 2 Roku players and we love them. We also use it for Hulu. You can also watch movies on other "channels" that you can add to your Roku very easily. Crackle is one with it you can watch movies for FREE. The only thing with it is that it will do commercials, but for getting to see a movie for free, that is a good trade off in my opinion. There is a LOT on Roku that makes it worth it.
