a lot of people are thinking its how people assume people with lung cancer deserve to die because they did it to themselves. Although not all lung cancer is caused by smoking which is what the ad is assumed to be getting at
There is this crazy new ad campaign, that seems to link back to the website noonedeservestodie.org. Only they will not be naming the killer for 58 hours. Many think it may be lung cancer, others think that is foolish. Many find the posters offensive and bad marketing.
I get that it can be offensive if taken strictly as written and not take into account that its dramtic for a reason and should end up showing that its not supposed to be read how it seems come Thursday.
But bad marketing? No. Thousands are already taking about it and its sweeping the web from starting out as bus stop posters. Thats certainly not bad marketing lol!

I think it's stupid. Just because they smoked and caused lung cancer to themselves doesn't mean they deserve to die, I am sure they are scared enough about dying without seeing something as heartless as this, know what I mean? Some people just have no cooth when it comes to other people and their feelings. :-(

My mother had Scleraderma in both her lungs. Its actually an autoimmune disease. But she died needing a double lung transplant and never got it. When people ask how she died, since no one really knows what Scleraderma is, the always say thats to bad but she shouldn't have smoked. She never touched a cigerette in her life.
I dont think the ad campaign, probably run by some medical organization, actually thinks people deserve to die. I think on Thursday when the rest of the ad is posted it will show how people really did nothing to get the disease they have and that people need to stop thinking that they deserve to die.
Or at least thats what I believe since the website the ad is linked to is NOONEdeservestodie.org ya know
