I don't have a preference I like them all, but pools maybe get a nudge higher currently because I prefer to be in water where I can see the bottom and the ocean here is brown. Where I grew up the water in the lake was crystal clear; in the middle of the lake you could see over 700ft down...which had a downside as well that's creepy, but I swam near the shore where it was shallow.

Anji, pool, the lakes around here are gross. I wish a beach was close that would be my top pick
