If I were to win I would like to buy a set of sheets and comforter that actually fits my bed and doesn't have holes or shoes and an outfit to re-enter the work force. In actuallity I probably would have to use the gift card for dogfood, shampoo, and other toiletries.

Thank you all for the kind replies. It seems most of you think the same way I do. If not needs it you want something for your children. It seems woman are more likely to sacrafice for their children then men.I have to laugh so I won't cry my bedding consists of 2 mismatched sheets and pillowcases from 4 other sets mostly shredded. Some even came from the hospital. I had the worst few years of my life. Both parents passed away at the ages of 67. My dad in the Philippines. Where I had to go and retrieve him, both emotional and expensive. My husband became disabled at work and he was let go do to his injuries exaclty 2 years after it happened so we could not take action. He was w/the County for 21 years 4 yrs shy of retiring. Within 2 months my job with the airlines office was closed due to outsourcing. My mom had been living for me for over 6 years then but took a turn for the worse and needed around the clock care so we had to live of our retirement funds to care for her for 3 years barely getting by. She died last year due to a series of mistakes at the hospital. Those were just a few of the things that happened in a short period. I finally was able to get out of bed after deep depression. Facebook helped me w/that I had become nonsocial being with her every minute. I am now looking forward to going back to work. It is a hard market right now but I have to save my home and car. I am in extreme danger of losing both and probably will. If it wasn't for my daughter and 2 beagles I probably could not do it. I know a lot of you must be going through your share of difficulties and am looking forward to being on this site. People need socialization. As soon as I can get my life starting in a good direction I'll have more time. I wish good luck to all of you as well we all have needs and hope they all get fulfilled. After all we really just need love and to care for our children. Being on this site makes me feel like I have friends even though I can not afford to go out and socialize. I think this will be a great experience and keep me going. I do not ever want to get that depressed ever again. I am not that kind of person. I just got overwhelmed in a short period of time. Thank you for listening. I will be uplifting in all my posts from here on out. People usually think of me as the therapist and a good listener.
