I sweep and then mop with a flat rectangular mop (it has washable terricloth covers on the flat part). I use Murphy's Oil Soap in the water for mopping.
My baby has a walker and it's been fine. :)

Don't use the brushroll if you are gonna use a vacuum ever. Probably gonna want to take ur shoes off because rocks and junk gave nowhere to hide. I got a cheap rug for the livingroom for the majority of our play. We were afraid to get a walker cause we just had our floors resurfaced- so I don't know.

Just get the stuff that is for cleaning hardwood. Our oldest was able to use her walker and other riding toys when we lived in our old house. It had nothing but hardwood.

I hope you figured it all out and enjoy your new apartment.

I would love a home with hardwood floors.

This is what we use. I also have a small vacuum that I use I find it easier than sweeping.
