Quoting northernmommy:even though you already talked to the Dr i would still probably bring him in. my oldest swollowed a quarter when he was 6 and they took x-rays for a few days to see where it was and eventually had to put him under to fish it out of his stomach. the surgeon told me that when its a quarter that is swallowed its actaully pretty rare for young children to actually have it pass the stomach because the opening from the stomach to the intestines is pretty small. but if it does get to the intestines it has a higher chance of causing damage when it gets to the small intestine. so i'd probably go in

He had some pains this morning, and feels all better now, but I have a call in to the nurse and I have a feeling they will have us go get x-rays
