What is one thing you want your children to know before they move out of the house? One thing you wish you knew before you left your parents home.

I have a list of things I want them to know before moving out. I can't think of anything that I didn't know before leaving home that was super important.

I want them to know I love them and they can always come back.... when I left home I didn't feel either of those things.

There are many things I want him to know. Of them money management is key, how to treat a lady, how to expect to be treated by others including women, how to protect himself from women, how to cook a meal and do his laundry, how to change a tire, and when to ask for help. I knew none of these things. I was abused and my parents kept me very repressed.

I'm sorry you went through that. Those are all great things to know! I want my children to know that too.

I have so many things I want to teach her before she moves out,

I think the importance of having a savings is something I wish my parents had stressed a little more

So many things! I'm not so sure my kids will be able to move out right away but I'll be putting a lot of effort into making sure they are equipped to be on their own before they move out.

First biggest lesson is to go to college, not be a follower, managing money, not settle for someone, be independent.... There are too many lol
