Our small town has a number of parks with beautiful (And fun!) playgrounds. Then there are the school playgrounds, which have been updated in the last few years. Our favorite park out of all of our options is one called "Peach Orchard Park."
Doesn't that just sound like somewhere you want to go to?
This park is situated on the edge of the huge lake our town sits on. There is a sandy beach (obviously), a water/spray park, and a playground complete with a zipline. The kids do a rotation between the lake, the water/spray park, and the playground. We have to be on lifeguard duty if they are in the lake, but the majority of the time they split the difference between the water/spray park and the playground, which lets us Moms catch up while keeping one eye on the minions.
Do you take your kids to the park? Or is the park not your thing?
We are very fortunate here to have an abundance of wonderful parks. We don't go to the lakes, prefer my friend's pool, but we do go to several that have fountains with sprinklers to play in.
My kids are now teens, but when they were younger they loved the park!
Your park sounds wonderful! I do take the children to the playgrounds.
We live in a neighborhood that is infused with parks, in fact park is in all the subdivision names. That is one of the big reasons we moved here. We love the park! Our kids love to be outside!
Sounds like a great neighborhood! My kids love to be outside too. They would much rather be out then in usually which is fine by me.
We have nice big swing set in our backyard, but sometimes they still prefer to go to the park so we will take them. :)
Taking the children to the park is a way to meet other moms and children, also.
Sometimes we walk over to the school playground near our house, because that is easier and my son loves the slides. We haven't done it this year yet, because we got a new dog and when we started to go she got freaked out by the main road and my hands were too full to carry her.
