Do you know how to sew?

I have an idea. Ive watched my gma and those quilting shows and I've looked in the quilting magazines. I know the steps of how to put it together, just haven't done it fully yet. The best i got was making the squares and sewing them together by hand. Now that i have a machine, I've thought about making one again. You know how in the fabric stores they sell those packs of scraps that are already in squares? I think those would be perfect in making the quilt because that's one less step to do

Yeah, I know what you mean...I don't have all the bells and whistles on my sewing machine. That is the way I wanted it.

I don't want to do anything OMG or open a business, I'd just like to be able to make play dresses (which is supposedly SUPER easy) for my girls, maybe sew some other things...not sure what. Nothing crazy or fancy.

That is an idea..never thought of that. :) Maybe when I get better on my machine I will try one.

My husband bought me a sewing machine this year (yaaay) and I taught myself how to sew. I'm addicted now, lol.

I know the basics
