All the local stores haves lists for all of the local schools. We just picked the right one and checked stuff off as we got it.
I get the list from the school and I checked off the items as I got them.
I combined both of my boys' lists and tallied the total amount of each item and make my own excel ss with Item, Qty, and box for check mark purposes.
Well that is easy, we need everything... Our oldest starts school next Monday, and we have yet to get her school supplies lol..
Lists from school is how I keep track...and I cross it off when I get them.
i simple check off the things on the list as we buy them. i keep the list for a bit after school has started so i can start getting things for next year. can't pass up $.10 notebooks & such! ;o) when i see items i know they'll need, basics like crayons, paper, pencils, on clearance i'll pick them up & put them in the back of the closet till the following school year. when they get the list for the new school year we'll check off what we already have & go shopping for the few things we still need.
I went to the school website and printed off their list. They still haven't sent out letters before the first day yet, but we don't start until Sept 5th.
