Nike has their new Lebron shoes out...for $300 and some change!!  That is just absurd!!  I would never pay $300 for tennis shoes!!

Would you??

Nope.  Not even if they had the best arch support and there was a tiny elf inside that would paint my nails while i walked.

You sound like me!  I said they better cook and clean, or do homework and laundry...something!!  I can't believe the prices people will pay for things!!

Yes if my husband wanted them. I have spent that on shoes a bunch of times. My husband works very hard for our family and deserves to have nice things too. His Jordan's have cost me up to $329. I am however a club member to all three stores and use coupons and earn rewards certificates all the time ... we are a shoe family.

At this point in my life no. If I had $300 to blow on shows regularly then yes I would.

When my kids were growing up, I told them $50 was the max for shoes. They never lasted long enough to spend more. Of course you could get good shoes for that, back then. Sometimes the GrandMom or Aunt/Uncle would get them really expensive shoes, and that was okay with me. But I was a single mom.

Now I typically stick to New Balance for myself. I get them for free.
