Smarter Living: Do You Have A Mantra?

I think. A lot. It has been said that we have at least 15,000 thoughts every day...maybe a few times that amount. And I believe the point, that, sometimes, all of my thinking isn't healthy. The rethinking, the going over the situation or through it over and over again in my mind...yeah. I fully admit I do this. I've talked to folks about it, and try to be sure those thoughts are as healthy and positive as I can make them. 

One way to stop that overthinking is to switch thoughts - more importantly, switch to a good thought. A mantra. A thought, a belief that you tell yourself to pull your mind into a certain direction.

Do you have a mantra? It can be anything really, but some of the main things the professional mantra people (there are such persons, really) advise to keep it short and to keep it positive (don't use "not" - like instead of "I won't eat sweets" say "I am free of sugar"). Create a personal statement and believe it.

Some examples:

I love myself.

I am free from jealousy/anger/depression.

I love being present.

The main thing: when you find one, repeat it often!

 i think everyone's life is full of mantras, even if they don't realize it.  i have a few; live in the moment, enjoy the life you have, do to others as you'd have them do to you, just to list a few

Mine is oops sorry then go back to positive thoughts .My poor mom has an awful time with positive thoughts and mumbles mean things to herself.I make her apologise to herself too :)
