I'd send them with her in her folder or whatever to give to her teacher to give to the students. That's what we do in prek anyway. Invite everyone! I would do at least 2 weeks if not a month in advance if possible. We had the party at a park, but it may be cool in october. i was nervous around the other parents too. it's a richer community and we just really dont have a lot of money, or as much as they do. or drive nice cars like they do (like escalades and such). dh and i are also at least 10 yrs younger than all the parents. a lil awkward but everyone is nice!
good luck! :)

What is a jumper?
I love the pinata idea! And the raffle is great too! Honestly I think that is plenty. You could probably do musical chairs to rock n roll music

Letting the teacher hand them out is a good idea. What about a jumper, do you think? Yay, or nay? I'm struggling to come up with good themed games that are coed.
We will be having a 4 ft tall pink and blak guitar piñata. I will be putting bedazzled shades, tattoos, rhinestone bracelets, guitar picks, an little knick knacks in the goody bags. My husband teaches music, and we will also be having a raffle for a guitar lesson with dh and dd (worth $50). What else can we do?

You know, the bounce houses! Lol
Quoting mmeredith:I would call the school first and see their policy on invites. I know at my children's school you are not allowed to send birthday invites to school. You must buy a class directory and call the parents and everything.
Hi:
I would get pink, silver and black dye, white tee shirts and rubber bands and have each dye in a bucket so the kids can tye dye their shirts and take them home. We did this at a camp and let the kids go at their own pace. You might want to change up the colors as black could ruin the shirt. Have fun
