Nooe. I plug it into its charger abd it goes under my pillow

No it usually on it depends if I have no been sleeping then I put it on vibrate

No. I use it for my alarm clock & if someone has an emergency in our family I'd like to be reachable.

Nope. We don't have a house phone, so I leave it on just in case of emergency
