Layaway?

Anyone ever done it? What happens if the item goes on sale while it's still in the store? I'm a newbie. My stepmom used to do layaway when I was a kid, but I've never done it personally;) sounds pretty easy and user friendly...

Same here, did it years ago when my kids were little and if something went on sale you just took your receipt to courtesy desk and they gave you the discounted price toward your layaway.

Haven't done layaway in years. Been thinking about it tho.

 When my kids where young.  I did layaways every Christmas.  I did Walmart and Kmart.  Then in December I took one night and went and picked up all the layways.  Dh and I would wrap all night long.   I miss that now that they are all older.  With 4 kids it was the only way to get what they all wanted.  We don't spend that much on christmas.  

One year I picked up 2 stereo's and 2 boom boxes for the 4 kids off of layaway.  A few men that where standing in line wanted to go to my house for Christmas.  If they only knew I had just picked up 2 other layaways at 2 different stores.   LOL!!!  I never spent more then $500 for Christmas.

Back in the day you could price match whenever you made a payment. Now I think you can only do it at a specific time and only once.

We've never used it, but are considering it for Christmas this year.
