I grew up back in the 'olden days', hahaha. I had to walk a mile to and from elementary school. And because I wasn't a bus rider, I had to go home for lunch. And the bus kids brought there lunch. There wasn't a lunch program.

Middle school was probably 2 miles. But I did get to stay for lunch...that I brought, we didn't have lunch programs.

High school was further, but I was allowed to take the bus then. But I had after school activities, so I'd walk home after that. But you had to walk at least a half mile to the bus stop. They didn't stop at every driveway like they do today.

There was a dress code until high school.....HAD to wear a skirt or dress. So in the winter I wore pants underneath. Yup...dorky and I didn't care. I was warm.

Yes I did. Got out at 3:30 and got home around 4:30. Same as my DD now. I hate it, but I pick her up on Fridays.

Never.. I walked. .we dont have busses in Switzerland.. unless you have to go to a special ed school. but then you get taxi transportation
