I just made a crock of load baked potato and broccoli soup and it is to die for. I don't make it like most because I don't us heavy cream.  It is yummy!

I also made homemade BB pulled pork and crisped apple cloud.

Diced potatoes leaving the skin on. Cook in chicken broth (I use reduced sodium), enough to cover potatoes, oven medium heat until soft. While potatoes are cooking, clock 1 package of bacon and put through food processor. Put in crockpot. Cream potatoes and broth in food processor and put in crockpot. Add 2 blocks cream cheese (I use reduced fat) and 1/2 small container sour cream. Mix. Add onion powder, garlic powder, pepper and season all. Mix. Ad a bag of frozen broccoli. Cook on low until broccoli is tender.  Serve with shredded cheddar cheese and  chives.

I don't know all the measurements because I really don't measure things.

Sounds great, thanks! I love making soup in the crock pot. My favorite is chicken breasts, frozen white corn, 1/2 jar green salsa, 1 can rotel (do not drain), 1 can black beans (do not drain), enough water to fill the crock pot. When the chicken is cooked, pull it out and shred it, then put it back in & cook a bit more. Serve with cheese, chips, and sour cream.
