Well when I was still at my moms we had A LOT of cats, and at least 2 dogs at one time, with 3 fish. I guess it depends on the family/ animal.

It depends For me anything more than two and it depends on the animal too. I love animals but I'm too busy for most.
I couldn't own a dog at all. my kid is allergic to cats, but I could do 2 of those. We have a hamster, one is plent. Y
