How do you heat your house?

Posted by   + Show Post
Wood stove? Radiant heat? Oil? Baseboards? Etc etc.

And... Have you turned on your heat yet?

We mainly use our gas fireplace.  We have a furnace but we only run it once a month for a few minutes just to run it.  I have turned on the fireplace a couple of times already.

Electric baseboards. We haven't had to turn them on yet. Our air hasn't been in in almost a month just been using window fans. Its been so nice out.

The downstairs is heated with a wood stove, but the heat wasn't quite reaching the upper level of the house where the kids rooms are, so we put in radiators which are heated with a gas furnace. We haven't turned it on yet, right now its about 70 inside the house, so we'll wait until its about 50-60. We do light the wood stove most nights however.

Natural gas via central air and heat (i believe)

Heater has been on pretty constant since mid July or Aug at the latest.

We have central heating and portable heaters, but it's not cold enough to heat up the house.

We have a gas furnace in our main home and propane heat in our vacation home.  We have not turned it on yet.
