Has your experience with doctors always been positive? I feel like if u ask questions they seem patronizing. especially if asked for a natural approach to treating something as an alternative to medicine.

I have a really great doctor. She has to manage all my care plus the specialists. She answers my questions and always seems to have my best interest in mind.

I'm glad that was an option for you. there is not a dr. in this town that will talk on the phone with a patient. I've tried.

I had to go thru 8 doctors before I found the one I have now.  I don't stay with a doctor who is patronizing.  You need to do some phone interviewing and then ask to make an appointment to interview the doctor.

when I moved here I saw a primary dr (a new one) and I have a NON-catching bacteria due to my lungs. NOBODY can catch it. Well, this dr. she excuses herself comes in with a freakin' mask and gloves she scared my son looking like that!! Then the next time I saw her she said after I left her office she felt a little sick and it was from me. Um, no thanks. Never went back to her. Wackjob. It was ultra embarrassing to say the least. Never had a dr. do that before.

For the most part yes. I've had a few bad experiences but haven't all been bad of course.

I'm lucky to be with kaiser I have lots of options so if I don't like one I can change. I've found an amazing pediatrician and I really like my dr right now. It's important not to settle when it comes to your and your child's health and bodies
