We are E traders and will be Cashing out 20,000 to pay off our car next year. This year we did the same and bought a car paid for and a down payment on our new home.

I pondered this for a bit... Let's see;

We want new couches and a new tv in the living room, so I guess a few grand would go to that. ($3000)

$2000 in savings because it's a good idea.

$10,000 split between the animal rescues here (2 total) because I love animals.

and the remaining $5,000 for random acts of kindness. Paying for someone's coffee, lunch, oil change, tank of gas, $20 just cause etc.

I don't need the money so I could not in good conscience keep it for myself. Could I blow $20K on myself? absolutely who couldn't!? But I'm not struggling so I'd give the majority up to those who need it more than me.  I like animals more than people that's why they get the most.
