We never really had alot of money for costumes, and since their were 4 of us to dress we usually just dressed in whatever Mom could come up with, bums, gyspies, old lady or old man, I do remember dressing one year as a princess. I remember one year one of my brothers had a broken leg and Mom pulled him in a wagon so he wouldn't miss out on the fun.

Rainbow Brite was my favorite. I was a witch for a couple of years. A maintenance man. A nurse and a waitress. A wizard. A gothic witch. and I don't remember any others.
A cat costume.... B/c my dad put the costume OVER MY WINTER JACKET!!!!
